The DMXControl Projects e.V. association has various bodies and working groups that cover different areas of the association's work. These groups are presented in more detail below.

Association's Executive Board

The Executive Board is responsible of leading the association. This includes activity reports to the tax office, the admission or dismissal of association members and the administration of the association's assets. It implements the resolutions of the general meeting and mediates between developer groups. Therefor, the Executive Board meets at regular intervals in meetings that are open to members of the association.

Software Development

The group of software developers are programing the software that the DMXControl Projects e.V. association makes available to the general public free of charge. The software includes DMXControl 3, the DDFCreator 3, the DDF library, the beamer tool and various drivers and plugins. In addition to the general association meeting, the developers have separate meetings to discuss the upcoming development steps and jointly advance the software projects.

Hardware Development

In addition to software, the DMXControl Projects e.V. association also offers various hardware projects. The hardware team takes care of the development of new projects such as new interfaces and the support and expansion of existing projects such as the Nodle interface or the Desklamp.

Marketing

The marketing team is responsible for the association's public relations and image. It develops strategies to make DMXControl even more present. This includes the production of videos and the planning of user meetings. The annual association meeting is also organized by the marketing team. The location is determined, the agenda is planned and the catering is organized.

A part of the marketing team is also responsible for documenting the association's hardware and software. Manuals are written for DMXControl and the Nodle interface, among others, and instructional videos are produced.

IT-Infrastruktur

The IT infrastructure team takes care of the association's entire server architecture. On the one hand, with the hardware test server, part of the server infrastructure is managed directly by this team. In addition, websites such as the DMXControl homepage, the association homepage, the DMXControl forum, the wiki and the shop are set up, maintained and further developed. It intervenes if there are problems with one of our services and adapts the services to the needs of the association.
